FROM THE ROASTER
The Halo Hartume washing station is located in a remote valley surrounded by hills in Gedeb, Ethiopia. Its beans are naturally processed and dried on raised beds, capturing the pure and unique flavors of the region. The Mijane family established the station to improve accessibility and traceability, allowing local farmers to deliver their cherries without long-distance transport. This location contributes to the exceptional quality of the coffee, ensuring a distinctive taste with every cup.
The Rioki Estate, situated on the southern slopes of the Aberdare Ranges in Kenya, is known for its rich volcanic soils and high altitudes. Beans from this estate are handpicked and meticulously washed to ensure exceptional cup quality. The estate’s processing methods preserve the intrinsic qualities of the beans, offering a clean and vibrant flavor profile.
