BRIGHT & JUICY
The latest from Kaito's Red Collection, Duromina is simply spectacular. As Kaito says, "it's what sunshiny day dreams are made of." Expect sparkling bright acidity and a refreshing sweetness reminiscent of raspberry lemonade.
Developed just enough to accentuate its natural sweetness and complex flavours, this light-medium roast single origin Ethiopian coffee is best enjoyed black, and shines especially brightly when brewed using filter methods.
In order to provide you the freshest coffee possible, all orders received up to and including Sunday will be roasted Monday and shipped Wednesday.

FROM THE ROASTER
We’ve been wanting to roast this coffee for you for a few years now, and finally the stars aligned!
This coffee was sourced by our importer partners, Red Fox Coffee Merchants. They have a longstanding relationship with the Duromina cooperative in Agaro, in Western Ethiopia, which is where this coffee comes from. Red Fox gets first dibs on coffee lot selection and shipping because of these healthy relationships, which means they get the good stuff, first and fast. And that goodness trickles down to you. And that makes us happy.
Coffees in Kaito’s Red Collection are like fireworks. Expect an exotic and unique taste experience. Perfect for people looking for wondrous, and sometimes curious coffees.

Kaito is a boutique coffee roastery, founded by partners in life and business, Holly & Paul von Hoyningen Huene, in their hometown of Hudson, Québec.
Adopting their name from the ‘kite’ fold that sets the foundation from which their origami bird emblem—Wazo—emerges, Kaito encourages thoughtful exploration of the incredible spectrum of possibilities that coffee presents.
With mindfulness and transparency as guiding values, Kaito continually strives to make the most delicious and sustainable coffee, and to share what they love with others who care as deeply as they do.
In the meantime, they’re simply doing their part to reveal something beautiful—one fold, and one coffee at a time.
