FROM THE ROASTER
The Kayon Mountain Farm is located in the fertile volcanic soil of the Guji region of Ethiopia. The coffee cherries are hand-sorted and are processed naturally on raised beds, capturing the pure and unique flavors of the region's terroir. Kayon Mountain emphasizes social responsibility, which includes building a high school in the nearby region, distributing coffee seedlings, and supporting farmers financially.

ABOUT MIKKO
It all began in 2014 with the opening of Mikko Espresso in Hudson, Québec. Soon after, Kaito Coffee opened its roasting facility within the same premises, enjoying a fruitful partnership. To propel the businesses into a new era of growth, the brands fully merged under the Mikko moniker in 2023.
With mindfulness and transparency as guiding values, Mikko continually strives to make the most delicious and sustainable coffee, and to share what they love with others who care as deeply as they do.
In the meantime, they’re simply doing their part to reveal something beautiful—one coffee at a time.

"My favorite coffee so far"
— Jeremy A. (5/5)
"This coffee was sent to me for free with the purchase of a grinder. At first I thought it`s just a mediocre coffee that is meant to be used for grinder seasoning but I was blown away when I brewed it! It`s got delicate floral notes and mellow citrus acidity just like what you`d expect from Ethiopians."
— Arash (5/5)
"Well-balanced, fruity coffee. I've only tried it in v60, but it's so good I don't dare try it with other methods at the moment."
— Matthieu S. (5/5)
"The best coffee, light and fruity. Can be used for filter or espresso, the results are both amazing ! Strongly suggested."
— Ionut (5/5)
"Heart taste was more like a herbal tea - not bad at all, but not what I would expect from specialty coffee advertised as being good coffee."
— Marcel Q. (3/5)
"Best coffee and good price ;)"
— Susie S. (5/5)
"This was purchased as a Christmas gift but, as before, Cafune's service is excellent"
— Susan S. (5/5)
"My partner, who enjoys coffee but often just drinks whatever I buy without comment, made a point of telling me how much he's enjoying this coffee. It really is good."
