"I got this pitcher to use with my Bellman Stovetop Steamer and it is a great match. The pitcher is quality! Really easy to clean and creates very good milk. The inside measurements really help with knowing the right amount of milk to pour and speaking of pouring, they are 100% correct when they claim "PRECISION POUR" as it can create great latte art."

"Again, don’t get off-putted by the 4/5, I’ve been using the Eddy pretty much daily for the past 3 months and love it. Its only fault is the handle in my opinion, but that will be circumstantial with how you hold it for which action. But I would still recommend it wholeheartedly; if you were to have only one pitcher, ignoring high end ones, the Eddy is it. The reason I feel it could have been improved is for the back face of the handle. The inside is a contoured convex profile that is comfortable to hold. The outside is concave however, so for a certain position, you can feel the edges “digging” a bit in your skin. To pour that’s not an issue, but when I steam with it, I like to hold it with my thumb on top, Index and middle fingers inside and I counterbalance/angle with my ring and pinky on the outside or the handle. If that part of the handle was flat with more beveled edges (like the Motta’s handle), it would have been a perfect pitcher in my opinion. (Speaking of the Motta, I very much so prefer the Eddy hands down for the way it pours and swirls while steaming !) The inside markings are really useful. I have the 12oz and I typically use slightly under 6oz of right on 8oz. I kinda wished the markings would be on both sides inside, but it’s not a big deal. The vortex while steaming with the half-and-a-quarter rule (Lance Hedrick’s steam guide) works really well and I think the 12oz is a great size for steaming. I use it with the Bellman and I get amazing texture. The quality of the steel is fantastic and cleaning is a breeze. I just quickly rinse it well, have a damp cloth from boiled water to gently buff the exterior for any splashes or leaks, then fill it with boiled water and after enjoying my drink, I empty it and air dry. Looks brand new after each use even after 3 months of nearly daily usage. The thing I like the most of this pitcher is the linear profile; as you can imagine, it makes for an incredibly intuitive pour, so much so that you forget about it. Which is probably the best compliment it could get. Now I can’t tell you if you’ll prefer a round spout to the narrow spout it has, but from my experience as a beginner, I absolutely love the way it pours and it helps with getting a good flow-rate which was my main issue. This pitcher may very well be the only one you'll need."

"I ordered the 12oz one and ended up getting the 16oz one, it was more useful for me."

"Nice design: fits the hand, effective action while steaming, easy accurate pour. Fine quality: feels solid, surface smoothly polished, welds tactfully finished, level markings legible. No regrets."

"After using the pitcher for a few weeks, steaming milk in quantities of 4oz-7oz (120ml-210ml), I've come to really like this pitcher a lot. The tip is really great. It pours fine lines really well but also still manages to fill the cup with rounded shapes as well without needing to wiggle too much. You need to increase your flow to do that though. With the spout going from top to bottom, coming from a standard pitcher you'll notice that the first drops of milk come out pretty naturally but then by the end of the pour you might be pouring a little lighter than you should be. This takes a little getting used to but isn't a problem overall. Steaming is really easy with 6oz (180ml) of milk and above. When steaming smaller amounts of milk you have to be more careful with your steam pressure and may also need to find a bit of a new sweet spot to get a vortex. But you can get good results even if you have to groom a little more than normal. I think that this is a really great premium pitcher to make milk drinks ranging from 6oz (180ml) cappuccinos or flat whites to 10oz (300ml) lattes. For anything larger than that I would look at buying the 20oz pitcher. If you own this you probably won't need an upgrade unless you want to try a much more rounded spout."
