My favourite espresso grinder

"This grinder makes absolutely incredible espresso, but it makes terrible filter coffee (IMO). Do not buy this if you're looking for a hybrid grinder! The dialing-in experience is excellent. The adjustment you get per click is too fine to really see a consistent difference in extraction times between adjacent settings. So, it seems a little useless until you realize how much versatility it lends to dosing. With my other hand grinders (K-ultra, Jx-pro) I find the right setting and then have to adjust dose to dial in, and then I'm kinda stuck there. J-ultra lets you dose according to what you feel like drinking and offers enough resolution to adjust the grind to compensate."

1Zpresso grinders - sweet spot for quality, value.

"I am embarrassed to admit that I have bought three 1Zpresso grinders at Cafune - the Q Air for camping, the ZP3 for pour-overs and soup, and now the J Ultra for espresso when my "so called friends" demand it. I think these grinders are extremely will engineered, and make coffee comparable to electric grinders costing 2 or 3 times more. These grinders are a good investment for your coffee addiction, and I think you won't find a better place than Cafune to buy them. Remember - Make coffee, not war!"

Really nice grinder

"This is my first hand grinder but I really like it. I am using it almost exclusively for espresso. It is easy to operate with a 17 gram dose taking approximately 45 seconds. It is also easy to clean. My only criticism/suggestion is to give the beans a spray as this grinder actually retains grinds a fair amount in the catch cup, especially decaf beans. Otherwise it has been a treat to use and I expect I will have many enjoyable years using this grinder."
