CONTEMPORARY EXPRESSION
Designed primarily for grinding at finer settings, the Option-O Contemporary Burr Set's performance is further enhanced by a titanium nitride (TiN) coating process that yields a smoother grinding action with lower surface friction and effectively extends their lifespan by up to 5 times.
The Contemporary Burrs can work for filter and immersion brewing methods as well—although their performance won't shine quite as brightly at these settings—and we recommend the Conventional Burr Set for medium-to-coarse range grinding.
* NOTE: Updated 2021 design has no keyhole milled into inner burr, and is not compatible with earlier REMI hand grinders.

REMI's stepless grind setting adjustment with 0.5mm fine-pitch thread and self-locking adjustment dial allows you to make precise micro-adjustments for utmost accuracy from very fine to coarse grinds.
With proven full-range performance, REMI introduces a roomier hopper for easier bean loading and a new magnetically attached grounds cup that provides a strong and secure hold with greater ease of use for an improved workflow.
Together with its ergonomically shaped crank shaft and comfortable wooden ball handle, the new and improved REMI provides a supremely pleasing experience.

The stainless steel Conventional Burr Set is particularly adept at grinding with excellent consistency at medium-to-coarse settings, and is recommended for filter and immersion brewing methods such as pour over and AeroPress.
For the finer grind range, the Italian-made Contemporary Burr Set is titanium nitride (TiN) coated for a smoother grinding action with lower surface friction, and is ideal for espresso or Turkish coffee use.
And for those who truly want it all, simply add the alternate and easily interchangeable burr set for exacting performance at both ends of the spectrum.
