Each disc fits securely into the base of the piston included with the NEO Flex, secured with an o-ring.

Restricting the flow of water through the coffee grounds, it helps to regulate pressure and contact time and assists in producing more consistent extractions—regardless of your grind quality.
Comes standard with the NEO espresso maker, and is compatible with Classic & Signature models.
