Blurring the lines between stainless steel and paper filters, Ameuus employs 'o so small' holes to micro-filter most of the sediment from your brew while allowing more natural coffee oils—and accompanying flavour—through. The result is richer, bolder coffee with more body than a paper filter can allow; and a smoother cup with greater clarity than any other stainless steel filter can produce.
Designed with 10,000 holes, each measuring 100 microns, the o1 10K is a perfect fit for those who appreciate the simplicity of a single-disc filter.
Very fine (100μm) hole pattern filters out more sediment while allowing coffee oils through, for a cup that features the best attributes of both stainless steel and paper filters.
Made to fit perfectly in the AeroPress Coffee Maker; does not fit Delter Coffee Press.
Eco-friendly reusable disc is easy to clean; just rinse under water.
Made of food grade 304 stainless steel.
Designed in Toronto
Inspired by a simple idea while sipping a cup of AeroPress brewed coffee, Ameuus micro-filters are the cumulative realisation of 20+ design variations and invaluable crowd-sourced feedback from the coffee community. With over 20 years of collective in-house experience in the design and manufacturing of micro-components (Tecford Design), Ameuus aims to develop amusing ideas and unique perspectives via designs, stories and experiences from Toronto and abroad.
Pushing the boundaries of stainless steel disc filter capabilities, Ameuus employs extremely fine hole patterns to micro-filter virtually all sediment; letting coffee oils through for a rich and full-bodied cup with greater clarity than any other stainless filter can produce.
The more traditional single disc o1 10K has an average hole size of just 100 microns, while the patent-pending dual-filtration design of the o2—with the two discs aligned—yields an average opening of just 30 microns to produce clarity that rivals paper filter brews.
