MATERIALS & PRODUCTION

Kapu coffee scoops are made 100% locally in Finland, using both modern production technology and hand finishing.

Constructed of Finnish birch plywood overlaid with polypropylene coating for added durability.

Naturally, only wood and finishing oils approved for contact with food are used in Kapu.

HILE is a Finnish design brand creating locally produced and perfected items for coffee lovers.

Manufacturing in Finland, they work closely with various subcontractors in Southern Finland, with the exact hand finishing of all items performed at HILE wood workshop in Helsinki.

USE & CARE

When needed, wipe Kapu with a damp cloth and dry it immediately. Do not wash in a dishwasher.

You can revive its finishing every few years by using a wood treatment oil. This is all you need to do to keep Kapu nice and clean year after year, or even for decades.
