54mm professional flat steel burrs by Ditting produce accurate grinding with extremely narrow particle distribution (lack of fines) for all brew methods.

Macro/micro adjustment of 260 distinct grind settings (with a range of 230-1150 microns) allows for fine-tuning with ease; all-metal adjustment system produces a positive feel and secure grind setting.

Intuitive LED touch-activated interface allows you to dose by weight or time, with three programmable presets and Baratza's signature grind-by-weight accurate to within 0.2g.

A powerful, high torque DC motor effortlessly drives the burrs, turning slowly for a cool, quiet operation while permitting longer grinding cycles. The circuitry is equipped with an automatically resetting, thermal cutoff switch.

Forté is calibrated at the factory to ensure an accurate range of grind. If necessary, the Forté burrs can be easily calibrated using the special calibration tool that comes with the grinder.
