BRIGHT & COMPLEX
From Kaito's Red Collection, Gaturiri AA balances the tart sweetness of blackberry with stone fruit juiciness and bright citrus acidity. An adventure in a cup, this coffee truly shines.
Developed just enough to accentuate its natural sweetness and complex flavours, this light-medium roast single origin coffee is best enjoyed black, and lends itself beautifully to filter or immersion methods.
In order to provide you the freshest coffee possible, all orders received up to and including Sunday will be roasted Monday and shipped Wednesday.

FROM THE ROASTER
We are very excited to offer you our first Kenyan coffee, sourced via our new partnership with Collaborative Coffee Source. The Gaturiri Factory, along with Karatina, Gatomboya and Karindundu factories, is part of the Barichu Cooperative Society in Karatina Town. The Cooperative was registered in October 1996. The factory currently has 467 female and 804 male farmers that contribute their cherries. It also has its own plot of land with 1500 trees. The agronomist for the Cooperative uses it for training farmers. Proceeds from the sale of these cherries help fund the factory’s operations.
Coffees in Kaito’s Red Collection are like fireworks. Expect an exotic and unique taste experience. Perfect for people looking for wondrous, and sometimes curious coffees.

Kaito is a boutique coffee roastery, founded by partners in life and business, Holly & Paul von Hoyningen Huene, in their hometown of Hudson, Québec.
Adopting their name from the ‘kite’ fold that sets the foundation from which their origami bird emblem—Wazo—emerges, Kaito encourages thoughtful exploration of the incredible spectrum of possibilities that coffee presents.
With mindfulness and transparency as guiding values, Kaito continually strives to make the most delicious and sustainable coffee, and to share what they love with others who care as deeply as they do.
In the meantime, they’re simply doing their part to reveal something beautiful—one fold, and one coffee at a time.
