COZY & COMFORTING
From Kaito's Blue Collection, Acevedo Decaf provides a sensory experience that goes toe-to-toe with its caffeinated brethren. Round and smooth, its milk chocolate body is accentuated by brown sugar sweetness and a hint of tropical fruit.
Sweet and balanced, this medium roast single origin Colombian coffee is an everyday crowd pleaser. Developed for a fuller body without masking any of its natural flavours, it is equally enjoyed with or without milk and ideally suited for brewing by any method.
In order to provide you the freshest coffee possible, all orders received up to and including Sunday will be roasted Monday and shipped Wednesday.

FROM THE ROASTER
Acevedo is a municipality located in the south-easternmost corner of the Huila region of Colombia. Here, the Colombian Andes, coming up from the south, split into three distinct mountain ranges—the western, central and eastern cordilleras. Just beyond the central and eastern cordillera convergence is jungle, and thus moist, cool air. The effect that this has on Acevedo microclimates is that of a simulated increase in elevation, and there is a wide diversity in humidity, temperature and rainfall—leading to differing but ideal coffee-growing conditions.
This multi-producer lot was compiled during The Acevedo Cup competition, in which only coffees meeting physical criteria and cupping scores of 86 and over were accepted.
Coffees in Kaito’s Blue Collection are like trusty companions. You can expect a cozy, familiar taste experience with these coffees. Perfect for people looking for full body coffees, low in acidity, with flavour notes more in the nut, dessert, spices and subtle fruit categories.

Kaito is a boutique coffee roastery, founded by partners in life and business, Holly & Paul von Hoyningen Huene, in their hometown of Hudson, Québec.
Adopting their name from the ‘kite’ fold that sets the foundation from which their origami bird emblem—Wazo—emerges, Kaito encourages thoughtful exploration of the incredible spectrum of possibilities that coffee presents.
With mindfulness and transparency as guiding values, Kaito continually strives to make the most delicious and sustainable coffee, and to share what they love with others who care as deeply as they do.
In the meantime, they’re simply doing their part to reveal something beautiful—one fold, and one coffee at a time.
