SWEET & ROUND
Forget what you thought you knew about Brazilian coffees. The latest from Kaito's Yellow Collection, Juquinha delivers a burst of stone fruit sweetness with a full and satisfying mouthfeel. Expect bright tropical notes with a smooth, round finish.
Developed just enough to accentuate its natural sweetness and complex flavours, this light-medium roast single origin Brazilian coffee is best enjoyed black, and lends itself beautifully to filter or immersion methods.
In order to provide you the freshest coffee possible, all orders received up to and including Sunday will be roasted Monday and shipped Wednesday.

FROM THE ROASTER
When producer Ivan Prado de Melo, his wife, Roseane, and her brother, Weder, inherited the Juquinha farm along with three other siblings, it was growing soy, corn and beans, but they decided to switch to coffee in 2015.
Investing heavily in researching specialty coffee production led the trio of first generation farmers to build African-inspired drying beds, and to very closely monitor and analyse the soil. With a stringent quality assurance process, they are extremely mindful of fertilizer use, lot maintenance and processing (using natural fertilizers and organic methods as much as possible)—resulting in very rich growing conditions and correspondingly complex coffee flavours.
Coffees in Kaito’s Yellow Collection take you to new places. Expect a vibrant and dynamic taste experience. Perfect for people looking for coffees with brighter acidity and varying mouthfeel, with flavour notes more in the fruit, dessert, flower and subtle herb categories.

Kaito is a boutique coffee roastery, founded by partners in life and business, Holly & Paul von Hoyningen Huene, in their hometown of Hudson, Québec.
Adopting their name from the ‘kite’ fold that sets the foundation from which their origami bird emblem—Wazo—emerges, Kaito encourages thoughtful exploration of the incredible spectrum of possibilities that coffee presents.
With mindfulness and transparency as guiding values, Kaito continually strives to make the most delicious and sustainable coffee, and to share what they love with others who care as deeply as they do.
In the meantime, they’re simply doing their part to reveal something beautiful—one fold, and one coffee at a time.
